Longfin reunites High School buddies
08/12/07

Melissa Salpietra (Class of 2005/06) ran into old high school chum (Jennifer Jacquet) when attending the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival this year, where her film (made with Lindsey Davidson) was a finalist in the Marion Zunz Best Newcomer Award. Melissa and Jennifer hail from the tiny town of Granville, Ohio, with a single high school and a graduating class of just 112.
They subsequently went their different ways until their paths crossed at the Jackson Hole festival. Jennifer is doing a PhD as part of the University of British Columbia’s “Sea Around Us Project”. She also maintains a blog called Shifting Baselines, where incidentally she reviewed “Longfin” and gave it 5 stars!
