Filmmaking Workshop Tour

A team of our Science Communication students are currently travelling the North and South Island conducting filmmaking workshops for secondary school students.

Topics covered include writing, shooting and editing, plus there are spot prizes on the day. These workshops are part of the 2010 Freemasons Reel Science Film Festival organized by the Royal Society of New Zealand and the Centre for Science Communication/ Otago University. The project sponsored by Freemasons New Zealand is a fabulous opportunity to learn about filmmaking and will give you a real edge in the competition.
