Emmy Award Winner new Director of Filmmaking

The Centre for Science Communication is very pleased to announce the appointment of Ian McGee as its new Director of Filmmaking.






Ian is the creative genius behind such staples on Animal Planet as the “Twisted Tales” series and “The Most Extreme” series. He won an Emmy Award for “Twisted Tales of the Bat” and has been nominated for Emmys on another two occasions.


Ian will be responsible for overseeing the Science and Natural History Filmmaking stream of the Master of Science Communication degree. We are ecstatic to have him aboard.
