Welcome to the Centre for Science Communication in 2010!

To start off into the new year we hosted a ‘Pocket Filmmaking Workshop’ in conjunction with the Australian Learning and Teaching Council.

Topic: How to tell stories and make movies using cellphones and small digital cameras.

Purpose: To bring Science Communication into the wider world using everyday camera devices and editing software.

The participants had a great week of seminars, exercises and social outings including a trip to Otago Peninsula
