Internship for Writing Student

Octavia Cade, a student in the MSciComm in Creative Nonfiction Writing, will be doing an internship at "Cosmos" magazine.

"Cosmos" is an Australian popular science magazine with both print and online editions. She is doing it as part of her course requirements for SCOM 404. Octavia will be spending November in Sydney as an editorial intern, writing science news articles for the online version of "Cosmos". She obtained this position largely through the non-fiction writing samples she produced in SCOM 403. Octavia has never been to Sydney and is looking forward to it immensely!
