Richard the Lionheart is back!

Great news! Richard Thomas, the key to our storytelling paper (SCOM 402), – which is in turn the heart of our Masters in Science Communication – has agreed to forgo retirement and come back to teach another year. Actually “retirement” is not a very appropriate word to use with Richard: he seems to have more projects on the go than the average fully employed producer. Currently, in his “retirement” he is overseeing Short Film Otago and the production of three short films for the BIG screen; he is working with Maori Television (among others) to produce a series of plays for television, and he has a hand in various documentary projects.


Anyway, we are delighted to welcome Richard back into our family for another year. Richard’s wealth of production and teaching experience means that he is the bee’s knees when it comes to storytelling...so apply now and come and learn from a master!
